Every fact traces to a published document

Exam facts — question counts, durations, pass marks, content-area weights, fees — come from the awarding body’s own published document. Not from a summary, not from a prep blog, and not from the awarding body’s marketing pages where those disagree with its controlled documents.

Each source document is stored with a SHA-256 hash. If a document is revised upstream, the hash stops matching and the build fails, so a quietly changed figure surfaces as an error instead of as content that has drifted out of date.

Absent beats wrong

Where a figure is not published, we leave it out and say so rather than repeating a number that circulates without a source. An exam’s scored-versus-pretest question split is a live example: the total is published, the split is not, so we state the total only.

Contradictions are recorded, not resolved silently

Awarding bodies sometimes contradict themselves between a web page and a controlled PDF. When that happens we follow the controlled document and publish the disagreement, so that nobody later "corrects" the right figure back to the wrong one.

Superseded documents are kept for comparison but never cited. A retired blueprint stating a pass mark that has since changed is exactly how a wrong number gets a second life.

Corrections

If you find an error, write to support@qualexam.com with the document and page that contradicts us. Corrections are made at the source — in the underlying data — so every page carrying that fact updates at once.
